We return to the book of Acts this morning and see the reaction of the crowd to hearing the disciples giving witness to the wonderful works of God, in their own languages. The words used to describe their reaction are amazement, perplexity, bewilderment and UTTER amazement: “What in the world is the meaning of this?”  Peter stands with a “Let me explain this to you.”  His explanation is such that by the end of it the hearts of his audience were cut to the heart.
