The Sins of the Saints (1)
This morning as we continue in our look at the beginning of the Christian church as Luke relates it in the book of Acts, we find a section where there is a deliberate contrast set between the sharing of the saints and the sinning of the saints. The dreadful story of Ananias and Sapphira is purposefully set in the context of the church acting wonderfully in unity and love. We’ll look at the church behaving well this morning to set the contrast with the church behaving poorly next week. Once again, we discover what is available to us by God’s Spirit and what the enemy would sow if enabled.
