God’s Vineyard
We continue our walk with Jesus this morning through the gospel of Mark. It’s Wednesday, two days before the crucifixion. Jesus reverses roles and goes on the offensive as He speaks to the religious leaders on His terms. He tells a story about a vineyard, an owner, and tenant farmers. In a few verses He sums up the history of God’s people in such a way that the religious leaders are left with an increased desire to put Him to death. In the meantime, we find a wonderful revelation about ourselves, some two thousand years later.
